Parking in and around the Redcliffe Hospital has been an issue for far too long. While they are finally building the hospital there is no guarantee it will change the parking in neighbouring streets due to the cost of parking. I have only had to deal with this a year but neighbours have put up with this for 20+ years. Ignored by local council, the hospital have no jurisdiction over this, the local member is also only offering lip service. Everyone tells me to get them towed but it just doesn't seem right nor does it solve the problem. One gets removed another parks in its place. Imagine having to deal with this everyday and being told too bad just be careful leaving your driveway by everyone who is meant to uphold the local laws. Being a citizen of the region who has had their issues fall on deaf ears is what has lead me to run for council.
